AT&T Yahoo - New Security Settings
Users have reported that using AT&T Self Support Tool has caused problems. Sadly, this is often the case for Mac users installing email settings. Enter your data manually.
If you have trouble sending, and receive this error: "the authentication type is not supported by Entourage". Check this page: Problems after conversion to AT&T (formerly BellSouth) for a possible solution.

How to set up a Reflector (Send Only account.)

- POP server to pop.att.yahoo.com.
- Check the option labeled Use an encrypted connection (SSL).
- Change the POP3 port to 995. See note
- Change the SMTP server to smtp.att.yahoo.com.
- Check the option labeled Use an encrypted connection (SSL).
- Change the SMTP port to 465.
- Select SMTP server requires authentication
- Use same settings as receiving mail server
Step 1: Change the POP and SMTP server addresses (One u)

Step 2: Use the advanced setting to check SSL and make sure you type in the 995 but do not check the box. (users advice) (One user noted he didn't have to check SSL.) see example

Step 3: Do the same for SMTP but check all three boxes and type in port 465.
