Installer Log Files

After using Microsoft AutoUpdate to update Office 2004, Update Logs are left in the root directory of your hard drive. The placement of these files at the root level is a Mindvision Vice Installer limitation

Since these are just text files that list the updated components, they can be deleted. You might be prompted for your password when you try to delete or move them. This is because the files are owned by 'system'.
