TapDex...(freeware) one-tap access to your Address Book contacts. When Entourage 2004 is synced to the Address Book and set as your default email application, clicking on the email address in TapDex, opens a new email in Entourage. It's quick and simple to use.

FontNuke...A FREE tool for removing font cache files on Mac OS X. Removes system font caches, Adobe font caches (*.lst), and Microsoft Office font caches. If it prompts you to click the button for "Quit All Apps" just quit them manually.
Leopard Cache Cleaner... from Northern Softworks. LCC does a lot more than just clean caches. ClamAV antivirus built in. Another product by Northern Softworks that makes using Entourage and other Mac applications easier is ClipDoubler.

FileChute...makes sending large files easy. FileChute works best with a .Mac account, configuration is super easy. But since not everyone has a .Mac account, FileChute also works great with other FTP or WebDAV-accessible web server.
Interarchy... (formerly Anarchy – by the authors of Internet Config). This application is primarily a powerful FTP client application but amongst many other features, it provides you with an easy user interface to monitor about anything you can monitor regarding network traffic on your Mac. Great for troubleshooting connection problems.
Share/send large files....There are several sites that allow you to share large files. Be sure to check the size limit to see if they meet your needs. Use this Google search to get you started.
Location X...Location X allows you to, with a single click, change network, time zone, email settings and more all at once. Includes AutoLocate - the ability to have Location X automatically determine where you are based on what AirPort network you are connected to.
Sidekick...Sidekick is an application that automatically updates your laptop settings based on where you are. Sidekick was previously called NetworkLocation. Be sure to read this older MacWorld review. $29
AppleScripts to switch SMTP (worked in Entourage..not tested in Outlook)
1) Get Paul Berkowitz's "SMTP Location X" script which does it all for you. It has a PREFS script helper which lets you enter all the information - for 5 or as many locations as you want, lets you enter exceptions, authentication variations among the servers, lets you set if there's any account you can't check at a particular location, etc. etc. Then you just use it. You can make changes if and when you want to. The script is at MacScripter.net
2) Click this link to download Barry Wainwright's script into ScriptEditor. You will need to edit 3 properties: property homeServer, property workServer and property currentLocation. The script is at should save the script as a compiled script & put it in the ‘Entourage Script Menu Items’ folder in your ‘Microsoft User Data’ folder.

Screen Loupe is a desktop utility that displays a magnified view of whatever is underneath your mouse cursor.
Macnifier shows a magnified section of your Apple Macintosh screen to help viewing up close. Freeware
LargeType is a Mac OS X service that displays any selected text in large type similar to the large type option in Address Book. Donationware
Coloristic is a mouse over magnification program. $12
If you register for a free Apple Developer account, and download the Xcode development tools that come with it, you'll get a very good, free magnifying app called Pixie. Pixie puts a magnified window (you select the magnification level) on your Desktop.

DoubleCommand!... DoubleCommand is software for Mac OS X (a kernel extension) that lets you remap keys, in other words change the way your keyboard works. Often used to make a PC keyboard more comfortable with a Mac, swapping the Alt (Option) and Windows (Command or Apple) keys, since they are in swapped positions on Mac and PC keyboards. TextSoap...Text filters to clean up text & email formatting. Supports Entourage and Outlook for Mac. It's a necessary tool since Auto Text Cleanup was not included in Outlook. TextSoap is one of my personal favorites tools.
